1. Tirone is a young kid who lives in some gehtto place. he is living in a very violet neihborhood and will soon need to join a gang called the yifa team. they are a cruel and tough gang that he will work with to try and earn enough money and power to help his family. they have had problems with that gang and are very poor. he wants to try and steer the gang away from his home life and make money, but along the way he develops a taste for evil. he begins to enjoy the killing and raping.
2. the characters are Tirone and his friend Lupe. tirone is a seemingly good kid on the surface, but as the story develops we start to see th darker side of him. His freind Lupe is one of the gang members who is new like him. he is shy and timid. he is the one who suffers form being soft in gang life while Tirone flourishes.
3. The setting is in some ghetto place that i have not named yet. but it is very rundown. the houses are small and in poor condition, while there is violence everywhere. this setting is going to be one of the reasons for Tirone joining the Yifa Team.
4. This story is an action drama i guess, its violent and would prob be in the category transformation in the 20 master plots. there are many changes the main character goes through and for the not so important ones as well.

ReplyDeleteThis seems like it could be a really interesting story, but I have a few questions:
1.) To what extent do you want your audience to sympathize or identify with your main character? If he is killing and raping, it might be hard for your reader to care about him, but it is possible, you just have to have really good characterization.
2.) Besides Tyrone joining the gang, where is the conflict in the story? What is the inciting incident?
3.) How are you planning to end the story? Is Tyrone going to remain in the gang, have a change or heart, get killed, go to prison, etc...?
